The STAX Fundamentals program is geared towards those with little or no prior CrossFit experience. Our program consists of three hour long classes, which we recommend you take in order, although we will do our best to accommodate any conflicts you may have in your schedule.
Our classes will introduce you to the nine foundation movements you'll likely perform during a CrossFit workout, plus numerous auxiliary exercises programmed for a typical WOD (Workout of the Day.)
This three class series will consist of; a dynamic warm up, demonstration, drilling of that day's exercises and a short workout. Emphasis will be placed on correct and safe movement patterns and scaling options. Each class begins with group introductions, followed by demonstration and instruction on the movements. Athletes will have the opportunity to practice the exercises under very light loads.
Participants will then drill the day's movements and perform an abbreviated WOD.
There will then be a cool-down period where the coach will give a brief lecture on one aspect of CrossFit.
The Fundamentals class list is as follows:
Fundies 1: Pressing Variations & Mid-Line Stabilization
Fundies 2: Squating Variations & Accessory Pulling/Pressing/Jumping Exercises
Fundies 3: Pulling Variations & Posterior Chain Movements
The STAX Fundamental Program is being offered at the introductory price of $99.00 for 3 classes AND unlimited CrossFit classes for the remainder of your first month!
